La Union Internacional de Arquitectos convoca a Concurso para la Imagen Modelos de Patrimonio Arquitectonico del Siglo XX

UNION INTERNACIONAL DE ARQUITECTOS
CONCURSO PARA LA IMAGEN MODELOS DE PATRIMONIO ARQUITECTÓNICO DEL SIGLO XX.
El Ministerio francés de cultura y comunicación (Dirección de Arquitectura y Patrimonio - DAPA) y la Unión Internacional de Arquitectos anuncian una iniciativa conjunta destinada a mejorar y ampliar su red del Patrimonio Arquitectónico del siglo XX: www.archi.fr/UIA/.
Este proyecto se centra en un Concurso Internacional de Estudiantes de Representaciones Digitales de Edificios Hito del siglo XX. El Concurso se ejecutará enteramente a través de la Internet.
Un primer Concurso Nacional se realizará por las secciones de miembros de la UIA y los ganadores de cada Selección Nacional se presentarán al Jurado Internacional.
Los panoramas y modelos en 3D diseñados para este concurso se basarán en fotografías digitales y utilizando el software de Autodesk, “Autodesk ® ImageModeler™” y “Autodesk ® Stitcher ™”. Este software se pone a disposición libre de los participantes y de forma gratuita durante un período de tres meses.
El concurso se iniciará durante la celebración Europea “Días del patrimonio arquitectónico”, organizado por el Ministro de cultura y comunicación el 19 y 20 de septiembre de 2009. La presentación de los proyectos está prevista para abril de 2010. El ganador del primer lugar y todos los proyectos seleccionados en el nivel nacional serán expuestos en la bienal de Venecia en Septiembre de 2010.
Las presentaciones digitales de todos los proyectos seleccionados se publicarán en línea en www.archi.fr/UIA/.
Creado en 2000 en el marco de un acuerdo entre el Ministerio francés de cultura y comunicación (dirección de arquitectura y patrimonio), el centro nacional para Investigación científica (UMR-CNRS 694 MAP) y la Unión Internacional de Arquitectos, el sitio web www.archi.fr/UIA/ tiene por objeto identificar y promover obras arquitectónicas alrededor del mundo y que han dejado su huella en la arquitectura del siglo XX.
El Comité internacional de Documentación y Conservación de Edificios, Sitios y Barrios del movimiento moderno, DoCoMoMo, participa también en este proyecto.

The French Ministry of Culture and Communication (Direction of Architecture and
Heritage - DAPA) and the International Union of Architects announce a joint initiative
aimed at enhancing and expanding their web index of 20th century architectural
heritage: www.archi.fr/UIA/.
This project focuses on an international student competition for digital representations of
landmark 20th century buildings. The competition will be run entirely through the Internet.
An initial national competition will be carried out by the UIA Member Sections and the
winners of the national selections will be submitted to the international jury.
The panoramas and 3D models designed for this competition will be based on digital
photographs and developed using the Autodesk software ‘Autodesk® ImageModeler™’
and ‘Autodesk® Stitcher™’. This software will be made available to the participants free
of charge for a period of three months.
The competition will be launched during the European celebration of Architectural
Heritage Days, organised by the Minister of Culture and Communication on 19 & 20
September 2009. Project submissions are planned for April 2010. The grand prize winners
and all projects selected at the national level will be exhibited at the Venice biennial in
September 2010.
